A month...really?!?!?

Adam and I have a new rifle, stocking up for armagedon. Clearly a conversation that would take up so much more time than a blog update would allow.

Georgia received her first flower from a boy... her daddy!

This look on Nolan sums him up entirely. What, you want me to smile? Okay, I'll just sit here and look retarded.

Stacking Georgia's birthday cake and enjoying the shaving at 9am. It's never too early for cake!

My tiny dancer

Big boy Cameron likes to ride on his tricycle. I have ingeniously concocted the belt around his wait with one of Nolan's belts. Why Radio Flyer didn't think to add a safety belt is beyond my comprehension.

Ever wonder where Georgia gets those piercing blue eyes? Wonder no longer folks, this is her Grammy Liz (Adam's mother) and I think the decision is unanimous... Grammy can take credit for the genes on this one.

The fab 5 beaching it up!

I'm trying to teach Cameron how to gain his footing while tiny waves come in.

Georgia's 3rd birthday celebration part 1

Alrighty, let's rewind a month and catch you up on the Wickes family. Georgia has started dance. She goes one day a week and practices a pre-ballet. Nolan is doing a tumbling class that meets once a week as well, same studio different days. Couldn't they have asked my opinion when they came up with the schedule? Anyway, the big kids are also going to mom's morning out at the Baptist church here two days a week from 9a-12p. They have a great time there and enjoy getting out and making friends. I haven't yet been able to enjoy having two less kids for a few hours a week because I've just been so busy. Cameron is still nursing so he stays with me. In the spring I may throw him in there as well and use those days as volunteer days for the pregnancy center... or I might just sit on my butt and eat bon bons...we'll have to see how that all plays out.

Georgia turned 3 on the 23rd, we had Grammy and Pop here for two weeks to celebrate her milestone. Unfortunately she was so sick. The two days prior she was running a high fever. On the day the above pictures were taken she was begging to go to bed and I kept her up an extra 20 minutes so we could sing Happy Birthday and open Grammy and Pops' presents. It was a Minnie Mouse day for her. She slept off the fever and day 4 was good as new. Two weeks prior Adam was really sick, then Cameron got the crud, then Georgia and yes, now I am crudded out. Nolan is the last man standing.

Adam is going to be DONE with his Masters in Business at the end of next week. This is a huge accomplishment for everyone. The patience we have all had to have as daddy works a strenuous week then spends the entire weekend doing M-word stuff was overwhelming. I think we are going to celebrate by going camping at St Andrews Park...in a tent...with three kids 4 and under...hmmm, let's rethink this plan.
