36 Week checkup and all other things Wickes

I thought it was fun last time to compare so here we go again...

36 1/2 weeks along with baby #2 (I measured my belly and I am 40" around, whoa!)

36 weeks with Nolan

Adam is somewhere out in the Brooks Range. He is sheep, caribou, bear... ground squirrel hunting up near Prudhoe Bay. He is mainly going for sheep but I wouldn't be surprised if he comes home with some other creature. He comes home Saturday so we are anxiously awaiting his arrival. Nolan is 20 months now. He is so awesome. He says the craziest things, "seriously?" "oh man!" "oh jets, oh trucks, oh mama!" Today was the first of I'm sure many head butts from my son straight to the bridge of my nose. I was holding him up in the air playing and his head came down with no control and slammed right into my nose and front teeth. My friend Erin was sitting here and almost lost her lunch hearing the "crack". I don't think it is broke but it did bleed quite a bit and is a little swollen. It hurt... I'm not gonna lie! As for baby Wickes and myself we had our 36 week check up today and all was well. I turned in my pre-admittance packet, got the GBS screening, baby's HR was 140s, my uterus is measuring 37cm, BP was awesome and I am at 23 lbs weight gain. Not too shabby. I am feeling more pressure from baby's head and have been having lots of Braxton Hicks contractions so I think we are well on our way to babyville.
