Alaskan Adventures

We just found out that we are in the Feb-May 2010 VML. This doesn't mean too much at this point because we don't have an assignment, or at least haven't been told we do. We will try to stay in Alaska as long as we can. This place is so beautiful.

Picking wild Alaskan blueberries up in Arctic Valley.

Hiking Arctic Valley yesterday. We made it to the ridge and called it good. To my left is a pretty steep uphill climb to the top of the mountain. I'm pretty adventurous but even that was a little much.

This was our hike out at Eklutna lake last weekend. We were in prime nap time and Nolan was just plain tuckered out!
