Valdez, Alaska one of the many most beautiful places of our earthly lives that we are blessed enough to be able to spend time in. We camped there this Labor Day weekend and finally caught some fish. Total fish caught were 7 yielding 42lbs of meat. Our freezer is stocked and we are happy. The weather was unbeatable. We spent so much time outside fishing, walking around, lounging in lawn chairs and visiting with friends. My folks and a family friend Stacy and her husband Mike came as well. This was a great time to camp our last weekend as members of the 19th FS and spend time with family and friends before we leave for 3 1/2 months. We had an AWESOME time. Did I mention Nolan is crawling? Fullup crawling. He did it on our camping trip and once again God has provided for us and Adam was there to witness it. At first we thought it was going to be more of the same rocking motion then he just...took off! He is gaining speed already and he's only been at it for a day. He saw me making breakfast this morning. Crawling over to my leg he started yanking on my PJ bottoms whining for food. Looks like the time has come to tie things down or pick them up because Nolan is on the move.
There is Nolan and daddy just hanging out being silly. I love them boys!
Here we are at the Alaska State Fair. We went there 2 weeks ago with our friends and their little angel the King's. Jenn won first place all around hella awesome cake decorating contest. Way to go Jenn! Nolan loved the animals. Adam wouldn't let him pet them because he was concerned about germs. I thought it would be fun for Nolan. My oh my have we changed! He kept saying "no honey, those animals are dirty.." yeah, they live on a farm! He did have a valid point. Nolan would have tried to put them in his mouth. Yuk!

aw, those last posts are awesome! wow, nolan sure is handsome! ha, i still can't get over how much adam and kyle favor. crawling.. uh oh i will need to put up some barriers in the house! did you cut your hair to make bangs? i can't quite see b/c you were turned to the side... oh i can't wait to see you!
