Fini-Flight complete...off to Tyndall!

Well the tour in the 19th Fighter squadron flying the mighty F-15C Eagle is officially over. Adam had his fini-flight on Friday along with the last roll call as an Eagle driver and our last party...as members of the Eagle community anyway. I was so happy that he had a great flight and a great sendoff. Folks were very loving to our little family. I even got to kiss another dude! Members of our community know what this is all about and yes, all the wives get a little smooch from the youngest single guy in the squadron. I thought he was headed for the cheek as I've seen him kiss so many others but who was the lucky girl? I got it right on the ol smackaroo. I LOVE kissing my husband but I gotta say, that was kind of fun. It was only a peck not to be repeated, don't anybody worry.

We are off to Tyndall tonight so this may be my last entry for awhile. I don't know what type of computer access I will have so be sure to check back, this will be an exciting 3 months. Keep us in your prayers for safe travel and a happy baby...is that possible while traveling?

Nolan is now crawling like a champ. He tries to speed crawl ends up losing his balance and falls on his face. He might fuss for a few seconds then it's off full speed ahead once again. In just a weeks time he has started pulling himself up on everything he can get his hands on. He isn't content with crawling so now he is cruising. For a solid 3 weeks or so we have been having problems with nursing. He just wasn't interested, had other things to do. Such as trying out his new found mobility. I pumped sometimes twice a day and gave him his milk in cereal, in a sip cup, in a regular cup anyway I could get him to drink it except out of me! Well, I am happy to report that 2 days ago the strike ended and he is back to nursing happily. We just might make it to the one year mark after all!
