Potty training, sort of like marathon training because it takes a lot of time and is strenuous. Well, its strenuous if you are 8 months pregnant and your second child decides 22 months is when it needs to happen. Totally worth it though. We might actually have her trained by the time Wickes baby #3 arrives. We've done 2 in diapers, not a fan. She really is making great progress...for daddy. I can't explain it but during the day she doesn't want to pee for me on the potty but when dad comes home she is almost always accident free. She has even pooped on the potty...twice...both times for Adam. I'm not sure who the winner is in the scenario since he has to clean out the pot but either way, she's doing it! I've decided that putting a diaper on her when we leave the house is a huge setback. So, we are going diaper free except for sleep time. We are roughly a week and a half into the process and just like with any other training, 1 step forward 2 steps back. Wish us luck!
I had to come back and add the funniest part about potty training...Nolan. No, he's fully potty trained but I figured out a way to incorporate him into the program which is mutually beneficial. If he is a "good support" meaning comes inside immediately when a last minute potty request comes from Georgia and I have to rush indoors before she tinkles down my arm then he too gets a potty treat. Potty treats currently are M&Ms but previously were Gummie Bears. He is the biggest cheerleader. "Let it out Georgia, just let it come..." The kid just cracks me up!
