I suppose this is the best I could do for a kid picture in front of the tree. The little one tries to run off all the time!

The weather warmed on New Years Eve so the kids and I took to playing outdoors.

Later we went downtown for New Year festivities and this fire dancing chic on stilts. Yep, don't see that everyday.

Christmas day was a bit stressful. The kids were GRUMPY all day. Our friends were supposed to come over for dinner but when the power went out in their neighboring town of Eagle River they had to stay home and keep their basement from freezing and pipes from cracking. There was the seafood that was going to accompany our prime rib being held hostage in another town by mother nature. Now I'm grumpy. Later that evening we got a call to come look at the house the very next morning. Good... and bad. The house wasn't quite ready for showing. For the next few hours that would've otherwise been spent snuggled up on the couch with spiked egg nog and a cheesy Christmas movie we cleaned, and cleaned and cleaned. We called it a night around 1130p. Or did we??? Nope, Adam had something in his gut that churned the wrong way, the lack of seafood I'm sure, and out it came right into my freshly cleaned toilet. He commenced vomiting for the next 30 minutes which put us right into the next day and of course our kids would wake up heinously early. 5am to be exact. New years was better... however this morning was another 5am wake up. I have no idea what is happening with these kids but it has to STOP! Anyway, all our love to you and your family.
