Happenings

I haven't been taking many pictures lately so I'll briefly update our family followers as to our happenings. Halloween is where I left off last. I started volunteering with the Red Cross on the Antepartum unit at Elmendorf hospital. Family Readiness Center pays for childcare so for 4 hours once a week I get to be a nurse again. Georgia decided 3 1/2 weeks ago that she was done nursing. Sad day for me but I know growing up is all part of the process. She is saying a few words, not to interested in walking yet. Nolan has started karate. He seems to like it although is still quite shy in participating. I think he is absorbing everything then one day will pull it out like Jackie Chan. Adam has put a temporary hold on his masters program. After the holidays he will deploy with the 525 for a month to start and hopefully gain significant ground in IPUG (instructor pilot upgrade) so when we leave Alaska he can hit the ground running in Florida with his UIP (upgrade instructor pilot) training. He is working on narrowing the house search down right now so hopefully before he leaves in Jan we can take a trip there and make an offer on the house so we can close right when we get there and move in. And of course, we have to sell this house. No easy task in this market. We want to do FSBO though using a realtor sevice seems so much easier.  The snow has fallen and temps have dropped so now I am doing my very best to get us outdoors everyday so we don't go stir crazy. Again, not and easy task. At the end of the day , we are all doing well-healthy and happy.
