| The escapees planned route... first through the fence then...hmmm, who will feed me? |
Nolan is such a big boy. He is a smidge past 2 1/2 so I (and the base pediatric dentist) thought it was time for him to see a real dentist. Not because he has issues but just to get him in the habit of going and to get a thorough cleaning. Nolan was very shy and not happy about the experience but went along with everything without so much as a whimper. Once all the instruments were explained, he was able to touch them all, he put on the cool shades he was good to go. The tech said he did better than most 5 year olds they see in there. After his check-up he got to watch mama get teeth cleaned and counted (thats what we called the plaque scraper, the teeth counter... less scary). We both got a clean bill of oral health and excitedly brush teeth together twice a day.
Kaiser busted out. Originally I felt sorry for him because we had a thunderstorm which is highly unusual in our neck of the woods so I'm sure it was really scary for him. He probably chewed through the fence to get away from the noise. Well this afternoon we pull up and I catch the little devil in the act. He was chewing a new hole through the repaired fence (Adam was out in the rain last night replacing the boards!) and there is nary a cloud in sight and the temp guage registers 70 F. That pooch is going to get skinned when Adam gets home!
