Here are some pics from our trip to WA. Nolan learns to play drums from his Uncle Keith who BTW is crazy about Nolan. Good thing he and Vannessa are getting married next fall because that is one man who is destined to be a daddy! Adam would prefer no other to love and play with his son than his own awesome brother. Well, maybe his dad too.
Aunt Sessy shows Nolan the fish swimming above him...hey, how'd they get up there! We were at the Seattle Aquarium. Nolan liked it decently although was much more interested in pushing the stroller around.
Once the Cars car toy was removed like any crazy toddler he wanted to play in the box the toy came in rather than the actual toy. Grammie and I got our workout pushing him around in his "car" while he happily made car noises "brrrm, brrrm".
In WA the driveway isn't covered in snow so Nolan discovered his first puddle. He is all boy. Somehow he instinctively knew he should first find a stick to poke and swish the water around then yes, I must stand in it! He got the hang of puddles in a hurry. The next day I bought him rain boots.

So here I am 16 weeks pregnant with Wickes baby #2. I'm feeling the baby move maybe once a day...if I'm really still...and if I'm positioned correctly...and if it's really quiet. This has only been going on a couple of days so I'm guessing in another couple of weeks I should be feeling the little one all the time. My last appointment was on Thurs and here are our stats:
My BP: 114/68
Wt gain: 3lbs
Baby HR: 148
My 20 week ultrasound is scheduled for 4May. We are excited to see the baby though we won't be finding out the sex. I think it is a boy.
Adam is scheduled to come home 15April. Pray for us! All of us in the flying world know not to count on our men being home until their wheels hit our runway so we will hope for the best and expect the worst. Worst meaning this darn volcano does something stupid and they get delayed. I will update the blog next with pics from Adam's homecoming when that happens.

It looks like Nolan is doing great! He's such a cutie (I'm thinking of how handsome he's gonna be in 18 years and so is Maddie!). I love that he jumped in the puddles and found a stick, what a hoot! We're gearing up for Easter here and dyed eggs today. I'll post pics but basically we just stripped Maddie down to her diaper and let her go at it. Outside of course! And, your belly is so cute!
