So we have been filling our rainy days with camping, eating, and playing. The weather has been crap this summer but we are making the best of it.

I was so reluctant to give Nolan solids because I'm scared he will choke, or reject nursing. Well neither has happened and now he uses his little pincer grasp and munches on all sorts of things his
faves being
avocado chunks, pears and chicken.

As far as mobility is concerned he has gotten up on his knees and rocked a few times though is
preferring Ms. Evan Registers mode of transportation which is rolling. Yep, he rolls like a champ.
Unfortunately since we downgraded our cable to basic our
Internet got slowed down as well so I can't post videos any longer. If anyone is interested in seeing video clips just shoot me an e-mail and I will give you access to our
Snapfish site where all the videos are stored. I weighed Nolan today and he is 20lbs! That means he needs a new car seat. He will finally ditch the infant carrier for a rear facing big boy
car seat. My boy is getting so big.

Hey friend! That's awesome that Evan has a fellow roller. Even though she can finally crawl, she still does her speed rolling all the time. I can't believe how much Nolan has grown! And it's so exciting that he's going to get a big boy car seat!
Can't wait to see y'all.
avacado huh? yeah i would say good eating... i don't know of a mother that feeds her 8 month old avacado... wow, i need your discipline!
