Many blessings

What our little baby might look like at 7 weeks pregnant

Pregnancy this time around is going well. I have already had to use a rubber band to let out a few centimeters of my jeans. The morning sickness is there but really no too bad. So long as I keep eating I'm good. As most you know that is no easy task when everything smells or tastes like death to a pregnant women in the first trimester. I will be relieved when it is over but really I can't complain. Next week is our ultrasound and of course I am so anxious to set eyes on the baby!
Valentines Day brought treats for the kids from Grammie and Pop Wickes. Georgia enjoyed playing with the bags more than she did the actual gifts! We thank you for the presents. Adam sent me a lovely card from Japan that revealed a lot of mushy stuff he would never speak. I'll take what I can get. Other than that, pretty uneventful.
We have filed our taxes and were surprised to get it kicked back. I thought, great- there goes our return or an audit... whatever. With the IRS, I thought the worse. Well there was an error but it was in our favor... an $800 increase! Nice! We will need this for closing costs on the new house. Speaking of houses, ours had an offer made on it, we countered with more acceptable terms and they accepted! So relieved that the Lord has provided for us and lifted the burden of dual home ownership. We should close on this house and turn it all over by the end of March and close on our new house around the same time. Fun fun!
