I feel as though I should explain the title. My boobs, well as a nursing mother they are special to me. I know she is a year old but does that really mean the end of nursing? I love the bond and I love knowing that I can provide her the best nutrition. I've decided that natural weaning means that I will not offer anymore BUT if she asks, and yes I use that term loosely as she doesn't speak sentences yet, I will not refuse. Today she has not asked. So, I'm sore and a bit sad. Perhaps before bedtime???
My little girl had her well baby appointment and is well indeed. She is 30" long and weighs 21 lbs. I'm still in the new car seat debacle but we are close to getting her switched over to a big girl chair.
I still haven't started teaching a Bradley class. Getting students is proving more difficult that I imagined. They will come, I just need to be patient. I have started a new way of eating though. I follow the Primal Blueprint. Basically getting back to the basics of nutrition. Eat only what you would grow, gather or kill. I have to say 3lbs down of body fat is nice. As Adam would say "You are in the best shape I have ever seen!" I'll take it!
Nolan is doing great. He is all about Buzz Lightyear and reciting lines from the movie. He has a favorite word, "no". Isn't that most 2 year olds favorite word?
Adam starts back up with the Masters program online today. He is not excited about it but knows it is a necessary step toward setting himself up for success.
