Crappy blogger

I don't really know why I can't type under each photo so I will do my best to tell you what each picture is from the top down. The first two are... Georgia! She is almost 10 months old now. It's hard to believe this much time has gone by since I gave birth to her but all her new tricks tell me its true. She is such a character. She has the full on body thrashing fit, screaming and squished up face to accompany it down to a science. In the same breathe she can smile so big and squeal with delight it just melts your heart. She self feeds really well, eats anything you put in front of her. After a day long struggle with nursing after I can back from a 4 day trip to Seattle (more on that later) she jumped right back on that horse and continues to nurse like a champ. Crawling is a very new adventure. She took 2 nudges forward tonight before collapsing onto the floor in full extension to reach her desired item. In this case it was an Easter egg. There are currently 6 teeth in her mouth and she's working on a couple more. She is a snuggle bug and we just adore her.

The next couple are of our big boy Nolan. There is so much to say so I will keep it brief...sorta. He has a love of skateboards, soccer (that's our boy!), toy story, Thomas the train and his Elmo doll. I just got him a Toy Story scooter and impressively he rides it! It does have 3 wheels so his balance is much assisted but still, I'm impressed. He can sing his abc's, count to 10 and is great at using his manners. He has gotten a bit tough to deal with at this age. He is a great kid though has very concrete thoughts about how things should happen and isn't afraid to let me know about it. I think I get more stressed over the little stuff because I have another child to care for who is still very needy and shoot, I just get tired of saying the same things over and over and over again. I have made a concentrated effort to spend alone FUN time with him and it is seeming to help his attitude and our relationship. Daddy is always cool because he only sees him an hour or so a day.

Most recently Adam's folks came up to visit us. We went to Girdwood and ate at the Chair 5 restaraunt and played at their park with the kids. There was a forest fair going on but Adam didn't want anything to do with it. He must think being a hippie is contagious. The next day we drove a few hours down south and went to Seward. There we at lunch at the Marina then spent a good portion of the afternoon at the Sea Life Center. Good times were had by all. We loved having Grammy and Pop here to love on the kids and allow Adam and I to go on a long bike ride together alone. Something we don't do much of. Being alone or bike riding for that matter.

Adam is flying regularly and going on cool TDYs. I am admittedly very jealous. I would love to travel. Hopefully my day will come. We have been playing on the same soccer team and having a great time with that. I went to Seattle for a workshop for 4 days on teaching the Bradley Method of birthing. I hope to start classes when we get back from Keith's wedding in August. I have to find the time to finish the academic package. Pray for me! As far as our future with the Air Force... the jury is still out on that one. We plan to get and assignment Dec-Jan time frame and be off to bigger, who knows if it will be better, things in the Spring.
