Nolan tries snuggling with Georgia

Nolan plays in the leaves outside with daddy

One of the few moments Georgia is content in her swing
Laying on dads chest is my favorite place too
Both of my beautiful babies
Where do I even start. The last 2 weeks and 2 days have rushed by. Adam was home for two weeks and it was awesome to have his help. He almost exclusively took care of Nolan while I tended to our fussy little Georgia. Nolan loved having his daddy around. He has taken to Georgia with such love and tenderness. This didn't surprise given his loving nature. What was a shock was when he started acting out with me. He didn't want to kiss me, he was trying to hit and yelling at me. This only lasted a couple of days and with extra love when he did act out I think he is past it and back to loving me again. Phew.
Georgia is a fussy little girl. She doesn't want a pacifier, doesn't get soothed by swinging, bouncing, swaddling, singing etc. The only thing that does work is the ergo baby carrier or nursing. Hmmm... that pretty much puts me on lockdown. I love her to pieces but man she is high maintenance. This morning Adam took her for a car ride at 430am so that I could try and rest since she had been up for hours screaming. Yikes.
Her well baby visit was today and in 2 weeks she has gained 2 ounces and grew 3/4 of an inch. As much as she eats I knew she would have grown. The hip click is gone so no issues there. Looks like we are very blessed to have another healthy child. What more could I ask for. Except maybe sleep...

I guess the trade-off for no sleep is having such a cutie pie! Hopefully she'll get the hang of the real world soon and start realizing what glorious things naps are. Here's hoping you get a few consecutive hours of sleep tonight!
Diggin' the new layout!
