40 weeks!

Yes I am surprised to say that I am still pregnant, HOWEVER, I did have a very reassuring visit to the OB this morning. I am 3-4cm dilated, baby is at a 0 station and I lost 2 lbs! Both of our vitals are strong and healthy so at this point we will continue to wait patiently for our little Wickes baby to join the family.

Nolan is preparing himself for big brotherhood. He is already telling the baby what to do such as the newest phrase "baby, out!" He holds and pats all his stuffed animals and loves to point out Kaiser's "baby" in his belly.

Adam is at a standstill at work just working on briefs as they don't want to schedule him to fly then have to go through the hassle of finding backups should baby decide to come. He is anxious as well but through it all is such a great support and a great friend. I've never felt sexier then when I'm pregnant and I can thank him for that.

As for me... just waiting. I feel wonderful. I am anxious but I know the baby will come when he/she is ready. The progress I learned of today is helpful. I was starting to think my body forgot what it was supposed to do. Stayed tuned... it won't be long now!
