Bowling and Babies

Well looks like things got out of order but then again that isn't too uncommon when it's me operating this thing. Above and the video below is of us bowling with Nolan. We really weren't sure how this family night out was going to go but surprisingly it went really well. Nolan loved the bowling and stayed right there with us the whole time. He did try and launch himself down the lane next to us a couple of times. Adam pulled him around on the slippery floor by his feet and he just laughed hysterically. Yes Nolan did win the game. Not for a lack of trying on mom and dads part... we just aren't that good!

32 weeks pregnant with Nolan

32 Weeks pregnant with baby Wickes #2

The 32 week check up revealed a healthy baby and healthy mom. All my vitals were great, baby's HR was 145 (still thinking it's a boy) and the baby is head down! My last appointment and consequently this one as well the practitioners all said the baby was breech. We started discussing ways to make the baby turn when finally she said, "well lets just double check with ultrasound". Good enough for me so off we went. She fires up the machine and hey what do you know, that was for sure a head down there. I am feeling great. I am more tired with this baby but still keeping up with demands of motherhood and being a housewife. We are getting so anxious to meet this baby.

Adam is doing great. He finished up his stint at SOS in Montgomery AL and followed that up with 2 weeks of leave (see previous posting). The guys here are about to begin a two week whirlwind of flying known as Red Flag then Adam will begin the pain which is otherwise known as FLUG (flight lead up grade). Until this kiddo is born he will be busy, busy, busy. Lots of long hours with little family time. Sort of sounds like everyday! Thats ok though, his training and expertise is important to the safety of our country and for that he is my hero and I will always be here with a smile and a hug.

So, I'm thinking that your belly doesn't look bigger from your Nolan pregnancy but it is a little bit different shape. I love that you compared the shots! What fun!
