Yes, It was COLD out that day!
My first triathlon was a great experience. I had so much fun. Adam, Nolan, my parents, and some great girlfriends were there to cheer us on. I say 'us' because my friend Candice did the tri with me. She is a seasoned athlete and I was able to get real good advice from her to make my first race go smoothly. Thanks C! The event was a 500M swim followed directly by a 13 mile bike (with LOTS of hills) followed directly by a 5K run. I think I finished around 1hr and 30 minutes. I can't be sure of that so when the results post I will fill in that blank. The bike portion was a challenge because I had a steel framed mountain bike while everyone else had carbon framed road bikes. My bike weighs 18 lbs theirs weighs about 8 lbs! I was relying on brute strength to make it up those hills. All things considered, I think I did really well.

Congrats, Tiff!
So glad the tri was so much fun after training so hard and raising the donations! Wish we could have been in your cheer section but as always, you were in heart and prayer. And Happy Birthday today, glad you had a great raft trip!

Hey Tiff! that is awesome! I enjoyed the video and looking at the pics! You look absolutely great! You really should try out for American Gladiator. If you did, I would fly there and be your support! I keep telling Kyle he should and he says, "They wouldn't accept me, I am too tall and weigh too much!" You are awesome! Yes, and I agree with Liz! Happy 26th birthday! MULU
Congratulations! You go, girl! I think it's amazing that you did that triathlon. I hope you had a happy birthday, too!
